Legal Secretary - Employment, Cardiff |
This is a full time role and will see the chosen candidate providing a full secretarial service to our large Employment team.
Duties will include;
Audio typing drafts from tape of correspondence, file and attendance notes, memos and drafting Employment Tribunal documentations and amending draft as typed to final versions [copy typing],
Filing and organising client matter files by ensuring documents are in order and accessible, as well as opening new files and deleting old ones,
Preparing bills, including disbursements,
Maintaining diaries and brought forward system to ensure clients / matters are reviewed and act as a reminder to the team.
Dealing with telephone enquiries and answering external calls,
Arranging appointments and meetings and arranging refreshments with Facilities for meetings,
General administration i.e. photocopying, faxing and shredding as required.
Candidates must have previous secretarial experience ideally gained within a legal environment, be able to type at 65wpm and possess excellent communication skills (both written and oral).
