Hugh is a corporate finance Partner, advising on buying and selling companies, financing businesses (both debt and equity), joint venture/shareholder agreements and general company law.
Clients include businesses in the health, IT, manufacturing and construction sectors. Hugh has also been involved in cross-border transactions with North America, India and Europe.
After gaining a BSc(Hons) in Engineering and spending nearly 2 years working as an Engineer, Hugh qualified as a lawyer in 1998 and joined Geldards in 2001.
Outside of work, Hugh grows most of the vegetables for his family and enjoys sailing. He is also Chairman of the Advisory Group - Nottinghamshire Common Purpose. |
